BLS for Healthcare Providers Skills Session
This course is a monitoring and testing class only. No instruction or presentation is conducted by the instructor. This course is an ideal option for healthcare providers seeking an alternative to traditional BLS classroom training for first-time or renewal certification.
Testing will include: Adult Skills (Relief of choking, rescue breathing, and use of a bag-mask device); Child Skills (Relief of choking, CPR, rescue breathing, and use of a bag-mask device); Infant Skills (Relief of choking, 1- and 2-rescuer CPR, rescue breathing, and use of a bag-mask device).
Is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or noncertified, licensed or healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, paramedics, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical, dental and nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
Course Length: 30 minutes depending on number of students
