Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course
This course provides general OSHA Standard for Bloodborne pathogens training for anyone with a real potential for occupational exposure. Students will learn how to protect themselves from exposure to bloodborne pathogens and how to act appropriately when a Bloodborne pathogens exposure occurs. This course also teaches how to clean up after a Bloodborne pathogens exposure as well as how to properly report any Bloodborne pathogens exposure.
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course has been developed using the same evidence-based process as all American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care courses.
Course Length: 1 - 2 hours depending on the number of students.
Intended Audience
Persons employed in a workplace/health and safety market who must be trained annually in bloodborne pathogens. It is targeted toward settings such as industry, Fortune 1500 companies, occupational health, property management, hospitality, security, and health and fitness staff.

Written Skills Exam: Not Required for completion card
