ACLS-EP
The ACLS Experienced Provider Course is for seasoned ACLS providers who wish to renew their provider status. This course provides a stimulus for clinicians and scientists to identify areas in resuscitation that deal with special circumstances.
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support – Experienced Provider program is for seasoned providers who wish to attend a course that challenges providers rather than repeat information in the ACLS provider course. The aim of the ACLS EP course is to expand knowledge beyond the standard primary and secondary survey and to give the participant a systematic approach towards identifying and treating underlying causes of cardiac arrest. Course is designed for intensive and critical care nurses, PA’s Nurse Practitioners, EMT-P, Physicians, and Respiratory Therapists. A current AHA Healthcare Provider card and ACLS-EP Manual are required to participate in the program. Participants will be in small groups that will rotate through stations. Pre and post tests are required to receive the 2 year certification for ACLS. A study guide, ECG handbook, pretest and required manual (if purchased) will be mailed to all paid participants before the course.
